As the 18th of July approaches, sports news and TV media are all set to cover and analyse the new incoming names into the football Hall of Fame of the NCAA. Roger Brown, who elderly featured for the Maryland State College in the late 1950s, will be inducted into the Hall of Fame in recognition to his football achievements along with other elder famous names in the football world such as Fred Dean, Rod Smith and Sam Mills.
Since the NCAA football Hall of Fame is also reserved to honor the best football players and coaches, the committee also declared the inducting of Coach Volney Ashford and Coach Jim Donnan into hall of Famers as they will also have the privilege of standing among the giants of football after the celebrations of July 18th.
Brief historical:
Roger Brown got into the professional football world after being picked by the Detroit Lions during the NFL drafts 1960; Brown swiftly exhibited his emerging talent as he earned the Pro Lineman of the year award in 1962 and got selected for 6 NFL Pro Bowl games. Brown played in favor of the Detroit Lions jerseys until 1967, the date of his transfer towards the Los Angeles Rams.
