NADAL 2010 World Tennis Champion
Spanish tennis champion, Rafael Nadal, has guaranteed an ATP season-ending top stop in the world tennis rankings after claiming the French Open championship, Wimbledon champion title and the US Open award. The ATP.com (official tennis website) has stated so during a live tennis statement in which several calculations were shown to explain their confirmation about Nadal being the world tennis champion 2010.
At 24 years of age, the Spanish tennis racket swinger has been unstoppable ever since the launch of the European clay tennis court season; for instance, Monday marked his career Grand Slam completion after out-scoring Novak Djokovic to win the US Open at Flushing Meadows. Nadal becomes the world’s youngest tennis player to win all 4 Grand Slams during the professional era, which marks his name into the tennis records.
Interviewed by the live tennis TV reporters and by several tennis websites, Nadal acknowledged that "It has been an incredible season - one of my best ever, if not the best Winning the US Open together with Roland Garros and Wimbledon, as well as the three back-to-back Masters 1000s in Europe, was not easy. I worked very hard to get back to the top and it feels really good to know I will end the year as number one."
Referring to the ATP stats (tennis statistics), this is Nadal’s 2nd top spot in the men’s world tennis standings in 3 years; finishing the ATP season as seeded number 1 in ATP rankings twice is definitely a great achievement knowing that an injury restrained Nadal from claiming the 2009 tennis world championship… it was Roger Federer who topped that particular tennis 2009 championship. Based on the opinion of tennis experts and previous tennis champions, Nadal could’ve claimed the top of the ATP rankings for 3 consecutive seasons if only the injury was avoided.
Rafael Nadal and Roger Federer are the only tennis players since year 2000 to win the ATP world tennis championship too early; the Swiss had previously achieved that tennis success back in 2004 and 2006.
Nadal will be officially crowned as the 2010 ATP World Tour Champion consequent to the London Open tennis tournament; the Spaniard is supposed to tackle the tennis court of London tennis championship with his customized tennis racket and stylish Nike tennis apparel in November.
In terms of tennis betting, a live bet on Nadal has been of a major success throughout the ATP 2010 tennis matches; sports bookmakers and online betting sites have reflected the domination of Nadal through their tennis betting odds by raising the payout for bidding on tennis players like Federer, Djokovic… almost anyone except for Nadal tennis outfit.
