Woods, who is currently facing the worst golf moments of his career, has been crowned as the Golf player of the year in an annual celebration hosted by the PGA Tour.

The “PGA Tour Rookie of the year” award was acquired by Marc Leishman; votes placed Leishman on top of the PGA standings of rookies as he became the 1^st Australian golf player to claim a major golf award since PGA 1990, when the award was created.
