Thailand Open Nadal to Semi-Finals

Nadal Thailand Open Semi Finals

Seeded World number 1 in the ATP standings Rafael Nadal stepped into the Thailand Open semi-finals after thrashing Kazakhstan’s Mikhail Kukushkin with a final tennis score of 6-2 6-3. The Spanish tennis player is emerging from a high achievement after winningn his 9th grand slam tennis tournament a week ago. Nadal, whose bet on tennis US Open win payed out in the end, was able to out-score the 22-years old tennis player easily onto the tennis court.

Rafael Nadal smacked the ranked 83 in World tennis rankings at 3-2 during the 1st set before winning 6 consecutive tennis games before Kukushkin managed to answer back. Nadal was sending severe tennis serves along the 2nd tennis set in order to keep his contender on the back foot before using his unique tiring tennis forehand swings.

Nadal told the Thailand Open Live TV reporters that "It was a much better performance than yesterday and I felt really happy. My serve-kick worked really well."

Nadal, who was inspired by his experience after winning the US Open tennis tournament, acknowledged that he still has a few tennis techniques to improve; the Spaniard, definitely the best tennis player in the world, had also admitted that it would be harsh to keep his number 1 in the ATP standings for a long period of time... the declaration causes some anxiety and question marks around his self esteem.

Nadal resumed his statement by telling the Tennis news magazines and the ATP official website: "I'm not the best tennis player yet. Winning and losing depends on how I prioritise. I just want to enjoy it and become a better player year by year."

In other Thailand Open results, Jarkko Nieminen and Benjamin Becker were able to book 2 Open tennis tickets into Thailand Semi-finals after demonstrating some professional tennis rackets swinging in a tennis tournament where betting on tennis had knocked all odds due to the elimination of the top-ranked athletes.
